West London Society of Arts (WLSOA) and Hypha Studios proudly present The Open Art Studios and Big Group Art Exhibition, a vibrant celebration of local talent taking place on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd November from 11 AM to 6 PM daily. This exciting event invites the public to explore and purchase unique works of art from Hillingdon’s finest creatives, offering an intimate glimpse into their artistic process and studio spaces.

For the first time in Hillingdon’s history, the Open Studios event will open the doors to over 22 art studios, providing a rare opportunity for visitors to meet local artists, learn about their techniques, and witness the creative process firsthand. Attendees will have the chance to purchase one-of-a-kind, original artwork directly from the artists themselves, making it a perfect event for art enthusiasts and collectors alike.

Following your studio visits, make sure to head downstairs to the Glass Pencil Art Gallery, where even more creations await in the Big Group Art Exhibition. This group show will feature a diverse array of artistic mediums, including painting, printmaking, textiles, photography, ceramics, and jewellery, offering something for every taste.

WLSOA is a not-for-profit social enterprise dedicated to supporting and promoting the artistic community in Hillingdon. The society, which is run by a volunteer committee, manages over 22 free art studios, a gallery, and a community workshop space, fostering creative opportunities for local residents. WLSOA works in partnership with Hypha Studios, a renowned organisation focused on providing affordable studio spaces to artists.

The Open Studios event aims to engage both the local community and the broader public by showcasing the passion and creativity of Hillingdon’s artists, while providing an exciting platform for the artists themselves to share their work.

Want to participate in future exhibitions? Join WLSOA as a member, and you can take part in future Big Group Art Exhibitions and display your work at the Glass Pencil Art Gallery.
