In the heart of East London’s vibrant Royal Docks, Immerse LDN is fast becoming the city’s go-to destination for world-class immersive entertainment. Set against the striking new waterfront by ExCeL, this dynamic venue brings beloved worlds from TV, film, music, art and gaming to life through interactive exhibitions and experiences.
Right now, the headline act is The Friends Experience: The One in London. It’s a must for fans of the iconic sitcom. Celebrating the show’s 30th anniversary, this interactive exhibition lets you step right into faithfully recreated sets, from Monica and Rachel’s apartment to the legendary Central Perk.
From the moment you’re greeted by Janice’s unmistakable voice in a welcome video, The Friends Experience London takes you on a laughter-filled journey through the show’s most memorable moments. This includes an exhibition of costume displays and behind-the-scenes stories from designer Debra McGuire, the opportunity to read Rachel’s infamous 18-page letter, and a look inside Monica’s fridge.
Along the way, you’ll encounter props, character insights, and interactive moments – from sitting at Central Perk’s counter in an apron to belting out Smelly Cat on stage. It’s a fully immersive celebration of the sitcom that defined a generation.
What Else is On at Immerse LDN?

Immerse LDN’s line-up goes far beyond The Friends Experience. Music lovers can step into Elvis Evolution (running until December 2025), a cutting-edge, multimedia celebration of the King of Rock ’n’ Roll featuring live music, jaw-dropping visuals, and iconic moments from Elvis’s life.
Thrill-seekers can take on Squid Game: The Experience (until January 2026), battling through five heart-pounding challenges before unwinding at a Korean-inspired night market. And from October, FameFactory will let visitors live out their A-list fantasies – from boarding a private jet to starring in their own blockbuster moment.
These follow Immerse LDN’s 2025 smash hit – Tutankhamun: The Immersive Exhibition, which finished its run in late spring. Combining replica artefacts with dazzling multimedia, the experience moved from museum-style displays into a series of spectacular set pieces: a surreal 30-minute film inspired by Egyptian creation myths, two VR adventures (including one where you inhabit Tutankhamun himself in the afterlife), and a holographic look at mummification. Its mix of spectacle and interactivity proved irresistible, and its popularity showcased just how fertile Ancient Egypt’s imagery remains for immersive storytelling.
That enduring fascination is easy to see in wider culture. Ancient Egypt’s mystique continues to inspire everything from TV dramas and documentaries to pop music, fashion, and gaming. Recent examples include TV series like Paramount’s Tut and the BBC’s Egypt. In iGaming, titles such as Links of Ra, which has emerged as one of the top slots games at casino bingo platforms like Buzz Bingo, turn pyramids and golden tombs into symbols on the reels. It joins titles like Granny Disco Frenzy and Kong 3 in the “slotlight”.
Elsewhere, music icons from Michael Jackson with Remember the Time to The Bangles’ global hit Walk Like an Egyptian have kept Egypt’s imagery alive in pop culture for decades, while Apple TV’s fascinating three-part series, Bradley Walsh: Egypt’s Cosmic Code, hit TV screens this year. Whether through regal epics, chart-topping hits, or digital adventures set among golden tombs, the allure of the pharaohs shows no sign of fading.
