Renowned artist Benita Jayne, known for her captivating use of sacred symbols, vibrant colours, and connection to nature, is thrilled to present her latest solo exhibition, Divine Energy of Harmony and Light. This unique series will be on display at The Pencil Art Gallery from the 21st – 24th Nov. Benita invites art lovers and spiritual seekers alike to explore the energies imbued within her creations, all inspired by British wildflowers, chakra colours, and divine energy.
Benita Jayne, born Benita Ambrose, comes from a multicultural background with her father’s roots in Rangoon, Burma, and Darjeeling, India, and her mother from Uxbridge, England. With a career that started in graphic design and packaging project management for high-profile brands such as Disney, My Little Pony, and Bob the Builder, Benita transitioned into full-time artistry eight years ago. Since then, her work has blossomed into a visual exploration of energy, nature, and spirituality.
Benita’s journey to becoming an artist was shaped by both personal loss and spiritual discovery. Following the passing of her father, she sought solace in spirituality, which led her to explore themes of angels, energy, and healing through art. This profound experience sparked a new chapter in her creative life, which now centres on combining natural forms, colour therapy, and sacred geometry.
“I’ve always been drawn to art, but it was my father’s passing and my spiritual exploration that truly set me on this path,” Benita reflects. “My art is a reflection of the vibrational energies I’ve come to understand, through both nature and spiritual teachings. I aim to inspire others to connect with these energies and see the beauty that lies in harmony and light.”
The Divine Energy of Harmony and Light art series is a culmination of nine months of creative exploration, merging British wildflower imagery with sacred symbols and chakra-inspired colours. Benita infuses each piece with intention, designed to resonate on a deeper, energetic level with viewers. Her use of British wild plants connects to her deep love for the natural world, while the sacred symbols and vibrant colours are inspired by her studies in Reiki, Shiatsu, and Angel teachings from the Diana Cooper School of White Light.
“I want people to connect with the vibration of each piece,” says Benita. “The colours and symbols I use correspond to the body’s chakras, and each person experiences the artwork differently, depending on the energy they need at the time. It’s not just art; it’s a tool for healing and spiritual growth.”
Each piece in this collection carries unique significance, but none more so than Ziwa, a powerful work featuring the sacred Metatron’s Cube. Known as the Fruit of Life, the Cube represents the interconnectedness of the universe. Benita explains that Ziwa is imbued with the energy of Archangel Metatron, designed to help release negative energies and clear blockages, offering both spiritual and emotional healing.
Benita’s artistic ambitions continue to evolve. Her future projects involve exploring new energy forms, such as the Fibonacci sequence and cymatics, the study of sound’s impact on the physical world. “I want to delve deeper into the patterns that exist in nature and sound,” Benita shares. “Everything in the universe is interconnected, and through my art, I hope to continue unveiling those secrets.”
