Iconic London Event Space Reopening in 2026

One of London’s most sought-after event spaces is back and better than ever. The Tower Suite at The Tower Hotel by Thistle is set to re-open in Spring 2026 following a multi-million-pound refurbishment in one of the capital’s most distinctive locations.

A landmark in its own right, The Tower Suite sits proudly beside Tower Bridge, boasting floor-to-ceiling windows with panoramic views of the London skyline. This expansive and flexible venue has its own private entrance, offering a fully modernised space in the heart of the city with the capacity to welcome up to 500 guests for gala dinners, large-scale conferences, product launches or celebrations.

The refurbishment brings fresh and modern design, advanced AV technology featuring integrated digital signage, HD projection, flexible connectivity and music systems, with retractable ceiling rigging systems for full event customisation.

This relaunch also marks a pivotal moment for the hotel, now part of a select group of properties rebranded as ‘by Thistle’, an elevated, reimagined collection offering location-led experiences for the modern traveller.

Gavin Taylor, CEO of Clermont Hotel Group said: “The refurbishment of The Tower Suite is pivotal for our London portfolio. This extraordinary space strengthens our position in the capital’s competitive event market, and our commitment to delivering standout venues in iconic locations.”

Richard O’Riordan, general manager of The Tower Hotel by Thistle added: “The Tower Suite has been a cornerstone of our hotel’s identity for many years, standing proudly at the heart of the city, and it’s a privilege to be overseeing this transformation. This refurbishment brings a fresh new look and an elevated experience for our clients and guests and we’re looking forward to once again becoming one of London’s go-to and most sought-after event spaces.”

The Tower Hotel also offers 801 bedrooms for residential events and 16 flexible further meeting spaces with 12th floor panoramic views of the capital.
