ANDAZ LONDON ANNOUNCES ARGENTINIAN TAKEOVER AT EASTWAY BRASSERIE

Bold flavours, fire cooking and Latin flair come to Liverpool Street with Chef Chino González

This summer, Andaz London Liverpool Street welcomes a bold new flavour profile to Eastway Brasserie, with an exclusive residency from up-and-coming Argentinian chef Cristian ‘Chino’ González. Launching 2nd June and running for three months, the takeover brings an eclectic, fire-led menu that reflects González’s globe-spanning experience and deep roots in Buenos Aires food culture.

González began his career at some of the world’s most renowned restaurants, including the three-Michelin-starred Mirazur in the South of France under Mauro Colagreco, and Basque Country’s Lasarte-Oria with Martín Berasategui. His South American training ground includes leading kitchens at Lima’s Malabar, Uruguay’s La Huella, and Mostrador Santa Teresita in Argentina, where he worked closely with celebrated chef Fernando Trocca.

His menu at Eastway Brasserie draws on that journey — marrying classical technique with raw bar precision, open-fire cooking, and fermentation know-how. Small plates such as seabass ceviche with tomberries and puffed quinoa offer a punchy, fresh start to the meal, while grilled thin skirt steak arrives charred and tender, finished simply with chimichurri. A sirloin milanesa is paired with pesto taglioline for a vibrant twist on a classic, and handmade orecchiette with clams, pork sausage and cime di rapa brings together land and sea in rich harmony.

Snacks like tapioca buns with sweet chilli and parmesan, or the deep-fried shrimp empanada, nod to Buenos Aires street food, while desserts remain indulgent yet elegant — including a standout dulce de leche mousse with praline and banana.

To complement the food, Eastway’s wine list will feature a rotating selection of Argentinian wines, offering everything from bright mineral whites to deep, structured reds, chosen to pair with the bold, layered dishes.

This takeover continues Andaz London’s mission to spotlight rising culinary talent and deliver memorable, culturally-driven dining experiences. Whether visiting from the neighbourhood or staying in-house, diners can expect a relaxed yet refined menu that celebrates Latin American heritage through a modern lens.
