Specialty coffeehouse chain, Black Sheep Coffee, opened its doors in Clapham on Tuesday 5th November with the support of HSBC UK.

B Century UK Limited secured a six-figure funding package from HSBC UK to purchase and fit-out the 1,000 sq. ft. coffeehouse in Northcote Road. The new store includes three self-service kiosks, and seating for up to 50 customers. The venue will serve a wide range of food and drinks, including coffee, sandwiches, smoothies, and waffles.

As a result of the opening, nine full-time and part-time jobs are being created for the local area.

The new franchise brings Black Sheep Coffee’s portfolio to over 95 stores across the UK.

Nasrullah Bawar, Director at B Century UK Limited, said: “Opening our new store provides an exciting opportunity to bring exceptional coffee and quality food to the local community. Our dedicated new store team can’t wait to welcome everyone and share their passion for great coffee and delicious food.”

Campbell Chisholm, Relationship Manager at HSBC UK, added: “It’s been a pleasure to see another successful opening of the Black Sheep Coffee franchise in the UK. The site will be a wonderful addition to Clapham.”

Founded in 2013, Black Sheep Coffee is a British coffeehouse chain headquartered in London, England. The business is known for using robusta coffee beans in its premium coffee, and its shops offer a range of barista prepared coffees, smoothies, pastries, bagels, toasties, and Norwegian waffles.
