Leading independent retailer reveals the top five bed trends on Pinterest for the season

With 522 million monthly users, Pinterest is a hub for inspiration, and as trends continue to evolve, users are saving ideas to refresh their homes. Furniture Village has shared how to incorporate these bed trends to give your bedroom a cosy update this autumn.

1. Bunk Beds

Bunk beds received the highest number of searches at 2,349. The experts at Furniture Village explain: “Bunk beds are becoming increasingly popular as people make the most of smaller spaces for their children. With their space-saving design, it’s no surprise that bunk beds generate so much interest. Create a fantastic shared space by opting for bunk beds that include storage solutions to tuck away their bits and bobs. To embrace that seasonal spirit, we recommend adding some adorable autumnal accessories, like pumpkin plushies for the kids.”

2. Day Beds

Day beds came in second, with 2,193 searches on Pinterest since January. Furniture Village experts say: “Day beds are becoming a staple in many households. People want both functionality and comfort from their furniture, and day beds combine the two. With their convenient pull-out feature, these beds are ideal for hosting guests, watching films, or simply relaxing.”

3. Ottoman Beds

Ottoman beds remain highly searched, with 2,076 searches on Pinterest since January. They offer useful storage options and come in a wide range of designs, making it easy to find the perfect fit. According to the Furniture Village expert: “Autumn is all about warm tones, and ottoman beds allow people to bring some of those lovely shades into their home. Choose beige, chocolate brown, or even make a statement with a bold burnt orange.”

4. Metal Beds

Metal beds are also a popular choice, with 1,925 searches since January. The spokesperson from Furniture Village advises: “It’s easy to think that metal and cosy autumn hues don’t go together, but metal beds can truly elevate a room. You could select a warm autumnal palette of golden browns, rich emeralds, pumpkin, and ivory, for example. 5. TV Beds

TV beds also made the top five on Pinterest (with 1,906 searches since January). The Furniture Village expert explains: “Nothing says cosy quite like watching your favourite shows whilst relaxing in bed. It’s no wonder TV beds are so popular. Introduce autumn warmth to your bedroom with cushions in cream, aubergine, or brown for your TV bed.”
