A new online marketplace is helping charities raise more funds with zero cost, zero admin, and zero disruption to supporters. BuytoGive.co.uk, founded by Staffordshire entrepreneur Kevin Turner, enables charities, schools, and community groups to set up their own fundraising shops for free. Each shop comes with a unique URL, allowing supporters to buy millions of products at market prices while generating donations for their chosen cause.
“It’s everything you’d expect from a major online retailer – but with one big difference,” says Turner. “Every order translates into direct impact, whether that’s more defibrillators, more shelter beds, or more food parcels for families in need.”
Fundraising Made Frictionless
Unlike existing platforms, BuytoGive gives charities a larger share of revenue and ensures donations are automatic. There’s no need for discount codes, donation prompts, or top-ups.
Charities don’t pay to join, and shoppers don’t pay more for products. A small transaction fee helps cover platform costs, but BuytoGive does not profit from the donations themselves.
Growing Community of Good Causes
The platform is already attracting national names and grassroots causes alike. Early partners include YMCA, MIND, The Lewis Foundation, The Macari Foundation, PACT Animal Sanctuary, and AEDdonate – which installs thousands of defibrillators across the UK each year.
Turner, who has a background in business and digital innovation, created BuytoGive to give charities a bigger slice of the fundraising pie.
“We wanted to build something that works in the background,” he explains. “A platform that feels familiar to use but does real good with every basket.”
Call to Action
BuytoGive is now inviting charities, schools, and community groups to set up their free online stores and start fundraising immediately.
