Aspray is celebrating after being named a finalist in the prestigious 2025 BFA HSBC UK British Franchise Awards, in the hotly contested Franchise Support category.
The business, which manages property damage insurance claims on behalf of policyholders nationwide, is headquartered in Lancashire. Since launching its franchise model in 2005, it has grown to 45 franchisees across the UK.
The BFA (British Franchise Association) is the UK’s leading authority on franchising, dedicated to upholding ethical business practices and high standards. Established in 1977, it empowers businesses and individuals through accreditation, education, and expert guidance.
There are 56 finalists in the 2025 awards. Winners will be revealed at a black-tie dinner in Telford on 6th November 2025 following the association’s annual conference.
The awards are sponsored by HSBC UK. UK Head of Franchise Gillian Morris said: “My warmest congratulations to all the finalists in this year’s British Franchise Awards. It’s certainly not an easy task but shortlisting the entries and choosing the finalists is one of the highlights of my year. As ever, there are some brilliant businesses amongst this year’s entrants. They really do represent the best of British franchising, and I look forward to seeing them all at the awards ceremony in November.”

Chief Executive of the BFA Pip Wilkins said: “Our huge congratulations to Aspray and all our finalists this year. As ever, the entries were very strong, and we commend each and every one of them for their efforts over the past 12 months to do more and to do better. Our members are the backbone of the BFA, upholding the ethical values of the association and we thank them for their commitment. The winners will be announced at our awards event in November, when the best in UK franchising come together to celebrate success. We look forward to seeing Aspray there on the night and wish them the very best of luck.”
Founder and Managing Director James Whittle said: ““We are absolutely thrilled to be named a finalist in the Franchisee Support category at this year’s British Franchise Association Awards. Supporting our network has always been at the heart of everything we do, so to be recognised by the BFA for this commitment is an incredible honour. This achievement reflects the dedication of our entire head office team, who work tirelessly to ensure our franchisees are equipped to succeed.”
